SIT Programming School Vietnam: 3 Years In
Three years ago, in February 2023, we launched SIT Programming School in Vietnam. Why Vietnam? At the time, Vietnam was one of the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia. It’s also a major hub for IT outsourcing and software development for global companies. Finally, Vietnam has a strong tradition of math and physics education in its school and university system.
What we’ve achieved in three years:
- 900+ students trained
- 53 cohorts completed
- 5 specialized learning programs launched
- 150+ graduates helped into their first tech jobs or career pivots
- 3,490 hours of live teaching delivered
- 23 dedicated teachers and mentors
- 100+ students joined us through word-of-mouth recommendations from peers and alumni.
In conclusion, I’d like to highlight the 90% retention rate we achieved in our most recent cohorts. Our NPS is 78, which gives us a strong foundation to expand into other Southeast Asian countries.
