We’ve Launched SIT Programming School in Serbia

SIT Programming School officially started its work in Serbia this week.

We launched in Belgrade, partnering with Svetozar Marković school.

Currently I'm working on another stage of the project from Vietnam, which makes this moment particularly important to me: the school is starting as a functioning system, not as something tied to the founder's physical presence.

Before the start, we held free open lessons.

These were not just demonstrations but real classes, with tasks, hands-on work, and open discussion with both children and their parents. This helped set clear expectations on both sides.

At the same time, we assembled and aligned the teaching team.

For me, it's essential to start with methodology and people, not with advertising.

Then, on 1st of October, we welcomed the first official group!

Around twenty children attended the initial sessions. It was immediately clear that the process works.

Within the first weeks, the younger group started building their own projects—simple games, working in pairs, and analyzing mistakes together.

What stands out to me is that we started with partnership and real work, not statements.

Classes began right away in a normal, working mode. Teachers and methodology were ready before the launch, not after.

The results are visible in what the children are doing, not just in numbers or reports.

This is the approach I value: the school starts working from day one, in practice.

A few things became clear:

  • Real partnership and operational readiness matter more than formal announcements
  • Running open lessons the same way we do regular classes helps everyone understand what to expect
  • Assembling and preparing the teaching team in advance is crucial

Now, we move to regular, systematic work.

And that's exactly the kind of launch I value.
